Husn is a Sri Lankan brand that celebrates the elegance of ethnic wear, inspired by the rich design traditions, art forms, and cultural stories of Sri Lanka, India, and Pakistan for the modern woman and girl who embraces both culture and contemporary trends.
Evolving from the legacy of Hameedia, a well-known menswear brand, Husn was founded by second-generation duo Asma Hussain and Habiba Hameed, who envisioned a womenswear collection that reflects grace, identity, and inclusivity.
The name Husn; meaning beauty, elegance, and grace in Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic mirrors both our design philosophy and our diverse supply chain.
Our logo, designed by Sumayya Nabiyeva and digitized by Rechellee Harold (ink_npixels), features pink and green, symbolically representing the lotus flower, a nod to Sri Lanka’s national flower, and an expression of our pride in being unapologetically Sri Lankan.
We believe in uniting cultures, reflected in our specially designed postcards that feature iconic Sri Lankan places of worship, including mosques, temples, kovils, and churches. Husn is for every Sri Lankan.

History
Husn was officially launched on March 23rd, 2025, as a bold step forward from the legacy of Hameedia, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic menswear brands. The vision came to life through Asma Hussain and Habiba Hameed, second-generation members of the Hameedia family, who saw a gap in the market for elegant, culturally rooted womenswear that speaks to the modern Sri Lankan woman. The idea for Husn was sparked by the presence of Hameedia Shalwars, which had long been part of the Hameedia family business. Asma and Habiba reimagined this presence into a full-fledged womenswear brand that champions empowerment, identity, and inclusivity.
